Rihaku Shuzo

Rihaku "Dreamy Clouds" Tokubetsu Junmai Nigori Nama Sake (BTL 720ml)

Regular price $41.00

While a slew of clear namas arrive in time for spring nama season, only a few nigori namas make it stateside. This is your chance to try one!

"Rihaku" is named after the Chinese poet Li Po, who lived from 701-762 and was known to drink sake before writing poetry. Like his poems, this sake is lyrical and distinctive as a nigori. The texture is very light for a nigori with rice and plum accents - plus the fact that it is unpasteurized gives it a fresh, effervescent kick. We would recommend this sake to pet nat wine lovers for its spritz and earthy taste. Don't be shy when pairing with spicy foods; drink chilled with curry, spicy barbeque, and pad thai – all stellar companions. SG travel tip: If you are ever in Chengdu, we recommend visiting Li Po's serene garden!

Note: We can ship this sake, but due to the nature of shipping, please note that fluctuations in temperature can affect the freshness of the drink, and we will always recommend picking up locally when possible. Please proceed with shipping at your own risk.
