Nihonjin No Wasuremono Kimoto Junmai Sake (BTL 10 oz)

Kitanishi Brewery began making sake in 1849 and is located in the town of Ageo; it is a robust brewery with modern facilities, a tasting room, and restaurant.

This sake fuses together the ancient tradition of kimoto sake-making and the art of calligraphy – the label is by artist Masami Takahashi. Rather mineral-forward for the style, get notes of citrus, mushrooms, and herbs in this kimoto sake. We loved this room temperature with Miss Ollies' famous fried chicken or roast duck by the pound at New Gold Medal in Oakland Chinatown.
